- Li Ka Shing Foundation Announces an immediate HK$30 Million Emergency Relief Fund to Support Fire-Affected Communities in Tai Po Wang Fuk Court Housing Complex
(Hong Kong, 27 November 2025) — Saddened by the profound loss and adversity faced by many, the Li Ka Shing Foundation today announced the launch of an emergency fund of HK$30 million to support registered charities, particularly those serving the Tai Po area, in providing immediate relief as well as longer-term assistance to individuals and families affected by the devastating Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire that has ravaged so many in our community. Any registered charitable organisations can apply for financial assistance through a dedicated link on the Tsz Shan Monastery website ( www.tszshan.org/lksfrelief ). Priority will be given to programmes that can swiftly deliver direct aid to those in urgent need. These scams often include: Fake social media profiles and websites using the Foundation’s or Founder’s name and images, along with content from our official platform. Fraudulent emails purportedly sent on behalf of the Foundation or the Founder, claiming to offer monetary awards. Deceptive investment advertisements using the Foundation’s or Founder’s name and fabricated information, promising unrealistic returns. Please stay alert: These fraudulent activities are unauthorised and unapproved. Please do not provide personal or financial information or pay any fees in response to suspicious requests.
