About the organisation
“Life is Colourful” (LIS) is a registered charity organisation in Hong Kong. With a belief of social equality, we have a vision that everyone can have a joyful and meaningful life. Life should be colourful. By organising a wide range of activities, including music and arts, sports, environmental and other learning events, we aim at helping those underprivileged communities explore their own potential, strengthen their own confidence so that they can live a meaningful life too. Furthermore, by working with different organisations, we expect both the social care and inclusion can be improved in Hong Kong.
Mission
1. Provide assistance to the needy and underprivileged communities in Hong Kong, including the elderly, low-income families, ethnic minorities, and people with disabilities, and help them integrate to the society and workforce. 2. Promote education, encourage young people to acquire knowledge, explore personal interest and potential, and cultivate their social awareness and sense of responsibility. 3. Promote the diversity of local arts in Hong Kong, including music, dance, painting and other types of arts exhibitions or performances.
