About the organisation
RDHK established in Dec 2014, is the first patient group in Hong Kong comprising cross-rare disease patients and their families with the support of experts and academics in the field.
Mission
Enhance understanding of rare diseases among patients and their families; promote self-help and mutual support and positive attitude.Promote public education on rare diseases, strengthen community awareness, understanding and support.Ensure rare disease patients and their families' needs and views are represented via policy advocacy and dialogues with Government authorities.
