About the organisation
Founded in 2008, Silence Limited is a non-profit organization dedicated to individuals with hearing impairments. It is a registered charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance and a member of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). As a non-profit organization, Silence aims to provide a range of support services and promote inclusivity to enhance the quality of life for those with hearing disabilities. Without government recurrent subvention, we primarily rely on donations and support from the community. Therefore, to ensure the long-term and stable development of Silence Limited and to expand diverse services for individuals with hearing impairments, we invite you to join us and support our work.

10月1日，「龍耳」作為非政府組織（NGO）的代表，非常榮幸獲邀出席於白田廣場街市對出隆重舉行的「深水埗東各界升旗禮」，與社區各界一同慶祝中華人民共和國成立77週年華誕！ 當日的活動氣氛莊嚴而熱烈，大會匯集了地區分區委員、關愛隊成員、校長、各大NGO團體代表以及眾多深水埗街坊朋友齊聚一堂，大家在大型橫額前大合照，並紛紛揮動著手中的國旗與區旗，場面盛大且充滿喜悅。 在莊重的國歌聲中，穿著整齊白色制服的儀仗隊伍列隊步操進場。隨著國旗徐徐升起，在場嘉賓、義工及居民均肅立行注目禮及敬禮，共同見證這莊嚴神聖的一刻，不少家長亦帶同小朋友到場親身感受，從小培養愛國情懷。 正如大會致辭所言，「同升一面旗，同唱一首歌」，升旗儀式不僅代表著民心的認同與團結，更匯聚了大家對國家的深厚情誼。作為深耕社區的 NGO 代表，「龍耳」一直致力推動「聾健共融」，我們深信只有社會大眾同心、同德、同行，地區服務才能真正扎根。 展望未來，「龍耳」將繼續堅守服務崗位，關懷弱勢社群、支援基層，並積極參與及推動地區服務。我們期待與各位街坊攜手並進，一同建設更溫暖、和諧美好的社區！✨...

感謝 北區吳耀祖議員 「北區關愛隊」及「祥華關愛隊」邀請「龍耳」義工出席 「迎 國 慶 賀 中 秋 老 友 記 下 午 茶 聚」 與一眾義工、友好團體及嘉賓，一同慶祝中華人民共和國成立77年茶聚。
- 【9月23日國際手語日：關注聾人消防安全，共建無障礙平安香港！】
今日是聯合國設立的「國際手語日」！在這個別具意義的日子，龍耳收到了一份關乎生命安全的重要禮物，感受到社會對聾人及弱聽社群的深切關懷。 衷心感謝 嘉達設備 創辦人林沛東先生，自費捐出 100 套自資研發的「消防閃燈振動裝置」予龍耳！今日我們在立法會議員 鄧家彪 的協助下，於立法會綜合大樓舉行了捐助禮，並有約 20 位會員親自到場領取這份「及時雨」。 為什麼這套裝置對我們這麼重要？ 對於聾人及弱聽朋友來說，火警最可怕之處在於「聽不見警鐘聲」，往往連逃生的第一步都無法踏出。這套閃燈振動裝置，正是為了在危急關頭透過視覺和觸覺發出警示，讓大家能及時逃生！ ⚠️ 我們仍需面對的挑戰： 鄧家彪議員指出，裝置必須連接大廈的消防系統才能發揮最大功效（否則只能作室內探測煙霧之用）。然而，目前全港 尚未有一座私人屋宇 成功安全安裝並連接消防閃燈裝置。消防安全不應有缺口！ 未來的目標： 龍耳總幹事邵日贊表示，我們現正聯同鄧家彪議員、消防處及區議員積極跟進一位聾人會員在私樓安裝裝置的個案。我們期望能促成全港「首宗成功案例」，發揮帶頭作用，推動更多私人樓宇、業主立案法團及物業管理公司採納...
