About the organisation
Founded in 2008, Silence Limited is a non-profit organization dedicated to individuals with hearing impairments. It is a registered charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance and a member of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). As a non-profit organization, Silence aims to provide a range of support services and promote inclusivity to enhance the quality of life for those with hearing disabilities. Without government recurrent subvention, we primarily rely on donations and support from the community. Therefore, to ensure the long-term and stable development of Silence Limited and to expand diverse services for individuals with hearing impairments, we invite you to join us and support our work.

感謝立法會鄧家彪議員安排「龍耳」邵日贊、「龍耳」協調主任馬芬燕、九龍城區議員黃文港、大埔區議員陳勇華、葵青區議員周潔莹、東區區議員何毅淦、防火科技公司「嘉達科建」與消防處處長楊恩健先生會議，表達聾人弱聽人士遭遇火警問題。席上大家一致同意消防設備須關注聾人及弱聽人士。

- 【 攜手同行・關懷弱勢｜「龍耳」創辦人與侯漢碩議員共商北區社群需要】
政府已於 4 月 3 日起，將「長者及殘疾人士公共交通票價優惠計劃」調整為「兩蚊兩折」的新安排。為了讓市民更清晰掌握新政策，新界侯漢碩議員於 4 月 8 日早上，聯同 #北區上水鄉郊關愛隊 於上水小巴總站設立流動服務站，親身為街坊解說。 在服務站運作當天，「龍耳」創辦人邵日贊亦特意前往現場尋找侯漢碩議員，雙方就北區聾人及弱勢社群所面對的生活問題與地區支援進行了深入交流。 侯漢碩議員一直以來都關懷弱勢社群，並堅持耐心、用心聆聽每一位居民的訴求。在交流期間，侯議員不僅對邵先生反映的聾人困境表示高度關注，在面對街坊主動查詢新乘車安排的計算方式時，他與團隊亦逐一細心解說，幫助大家明白政策旨在減少「長車短搭」，以善用公共資源並持續支援長者及殘疾人士。 無論是跟進地區政策，還是關顧殘疾人士的無障礙需要，侯議員都身體力行，展現出對社區的熱誠與承擔。 「龍耳」感謝侯議員及關愛隊落區支援市民！期望未來能繼續與各界有心人士保持緊密溝通，攜手為北區以至全港的聾人及弱勢社群，建構一個更共融、更有愛的社區！ #龍耳 #Silence #邵日贊 #侯漢碩議員 #關懷弱勢社群 #用心聆聽...
