About the organisation
For over two decades, The Women's Foundation has championed gender equality in Hong Kong. We focus on challenging gender stereotypes, empowering women in poverty and increasing the number of women in decision-making and leadership roles through ground-breaking research, impactful community programmes, education and advocacy. Our vision is a Hong Kong in which women and girls have the opportunity, support and resources to thrive and achieve their true potential. This vision of empowerment has evolved into a comprehensive approach for lasting change, from the boardroom to the classroom and beyond into every aspect of society. The Women’s Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation and non-Government subvented charity, we rely almost entirely on corporate and individual sponsorship and donations for our funding.
Mission
The Women’s Foundation promotes the full participation of women and girls in all aspects of Hong Kong society by building resources to support change through research, education, public awareness and programs.
