About the organisation
Yes We Do Foundation (Charity No.: 91/11614) was established in 2009 and is a charitable organization registered with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. Based on the core values of self-confidence, (Yes), teamwork (We), and social responsibility (Do), Yes We Do Foundation has been working hard to make up for the lack of quality education in the existing education system, and provide the same high-quality education for children in low-income areas. With the development of society, the hardware facilities in many underdeveloped areas have gradually improved, but many sports and art courses (music, sports, art, scientific enlightenment, etc.) are often ignored because they are not in the scope of exam-oriented education. At the same time, most of the domestic teaching support projects are short-term projects, and there is no way to provide students in underdeveloped areas with a systematic learning experience. As part of whole-person education, we need to provide "knowledge" to the next generation who lack resources, but also provide students with "experience" to face and solve problems, and "courage" to believe that they can succeed. These things It is exactly possible to get the opportunity to practice in stages in the quality learning of various groups or individuals in group quality education. We firmly believe that every child should have complete and equal educational opportunities. Only by investing in education can the humanities of the next generation be improved. Through long-term help schools to recruit physical and art teachers to provide systematic group quality education, the "success" and "failure" in the process of interest training can be transformed with the growth of students and become their different life experiences in the future. Yes We Do Foundation hopes that every child can enjoy the right to high-quality education, grow up fairly, and establish himself in the group. We believe that poverty and many factors that cause social divisions are all due to the uneven distribution of resources and social structural problems. In order to solve this problem, we hope that through comprehensive, pragmatic and systematic group quality education, social resources will be invested in the character training of the next generation, so as to ensure that every child who lacks resources has equal access to quality education, and let them, in the process of growing up with group members, build self-confidence and develop talents so that the possibilities of each child can be actualized.
