Description: The Hong Kong Center (also known as New Horizon Buddhist Association) was founded by the 14th Shamar Rinpoche in 2002. Since its establishment, the 400 square meter center has hosted countless number of initiation ceremonies (pujas) and precious Buddhist teachings by many different high Karma Kagyu Rimpoches. This center is located in the city-proper of Hong Kong, accessible by most major public transportation. Our resident lineage teacher, Karma Chagmay Rimpoche, together with our center members will always be happy to offer their best assistance to all visitors, which makes our center a truly blessed place perfect for dharma activities and practices.; Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
