- Chinese Woman Composers’Association (“CWCA”) is a non-profit, voluntary association formed by a group of accomplished Chinese Woman musicians in 2002. CWCA encourages and promotes not only Chinese woman composers but Chinese woman performers at all stages of their careers throughout the world. It is committed to enhance the profile of Chinese woman musicians by: (1)Supporting performances and recordings of woman musicians in both Hong Kong and abroad through fund raising and commissioning (2)Promoting communication among members and with other musical organizations (3)Encouraging the pursuit of musical and educational excellence through organizing symposium and forums to discuss woman related musical topics including cross culture issues. (4)Supporting publications and distributions of musical works.
