- 嶺東堂起源於一九六九年，其間數位潮籍信徒，深感有需要信徒相聚，敬拜天父，開始在家中聚會，起初十餘人，後來人數增加，拓展為教會，定名為”中華基督教會嶺東堂” 邀區會潮州人 使命宣言 教會以基督為目標, 邁向五歷程: 信徒: 信奉基督; 門徒: 追隨耶穌; 使徒: 受主差遣; 愛徒: 愛主愛人; 聖徒: 追求聖潔; 與眾聖徒同得基業。 五歷程缺一不可, 是一個加一個, 至終整全一致! 因為我們建基於真理, 活出救恩, 宣講福音, 彼此相愛, 又配搭事奉, 生命成長, 在人生各個領域, 為鹽為光, 榮神益人!
