- Description
- Eye Fund (formerly known as Hong Kong Cataract Foundation) was registered in October 2007 as a non-profit charity (R88) approved by the Inland Revenue Department (Inland Revenue NO. 91/8616). Since establishment, Eye Fund has been upholding the mission of “Prevent, Cure and Eradicate Blindness”, conveying the right understanding of eye care and accurate eye information to the general public. Eye Fund has focused on people who care about their health, including the elderly, children and parents, to provide eye care service. Through regular collaboration with community organizations, health education and exhibitions are held to raise public awareness of eye health.
- Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
