PETA Asia Limited
Environment and AnimalsPETA entities have more than 9 million members and supporters globally. PETA Asia is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. It operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way and focuses on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment business. It also works on a variety of other issues, including spaying and neutering and the killing of “pests.” PETA Asia works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns. Located in Hong Kong, PETA Asia is the base for animal-rights campaigns across Asia, a region that is home to more than one-third of the world’s population. PETA Asia may be young, but it has already created quite a stir with attention-grabbing ads and groundbreaking protests in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan, where public demonstrations are rare. PETA Asia has already won victories big and small for animals—from shutting down a roadside zoo in Vietnam to distributing more than 35,000 vegetarian starter kits in the Philippines.

HK Shark Foundation Limited
Environment and AnimalsWHO ARE WE? Hong Kong Shark Foundation (HKSF) is a registered charity dedicated exclusively to shark conservation. We aim to raise awareness about shark conservation, particularly the unsustainable practice of shark finning, and to reduce consumption of shark products in Hong Kong. https://www.hksharkfoundation.org/about-us/ WHAT'S THE CHALLENGE? Every year, over 100 million sharks are caught worldwide for shark fins and other products, with over 50% of the world’s shark fin being traded through Hong Kong alone. As apex predators, sharks are a crucial part of the marine food chain. The demand for shark products has contributed to the rapid decline of many species, with several already nearing extinction. Removing sharks from our oceans will threaten the delicate balance of ecosystems that are valuable sources of food and key elements in regulating our climate. HKSF believes this a rare opportunity for people everywhere, especially in Hong Kong, to make a significant impact on a global scale. Please act now by helping raising awareness about shark conservation and by educating people to reduce the consumption of shark products globally to save the world’s sharks. OUR IMPACT To understand the impact our work has, we have put together an Impact Statement to show you our KPI's and ROI of our support. For more details, see link below: https://www.hksharkfoundation.org/2025/01/hksf-2024-impact-statement/ WHERE DOES YOUR DONATION GO? Your donation will be put towards excellent use helping us raise awareness about shark conservation through several of our campaigns as laid out below. You can also check out our website donation page here: https://www.hksharkfoundation.org/donations/. Active Campaigns: 1. Education - Our Shark Ambassador education program reached over 10,00 kids in 2024 at over 50 schools. HKSF's Shark Ambassador Education Program is a student-driven initiative that enables motivated students here in Hong Kong to become a vital part of the shark conservation movement. HKSF focuses on SDG #14LifeBelowWater and provides the mentoring, the training and basic materials to help new Shark Ambassadors learn more about the importance of marine conservation and sustainability, as well as how to best engage their peers. Once Shark Ambassadors have participated in our talk and training, they go out into their schools and communities hosting events, organizing fundraisers, and working with their teachers and HKSF to integrate conservation messages into the existing curriculum. To learn more, check out https://hksfambassador.wixsite.com/hksfambassador 2. Shark-Free Company - HKSF is keen to encourage all companies to set a good example for their respective industries and pledge to be a shark free company because we believe that, in today’s market, there is no need to serve shark’s fin in order to show respect or win favour. Catholic Sustainable Garden of Joy Limited

Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) Trustees Incorporated
Environment and AnimalsThe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was first formed by a group of volunteers in 1903 and became active in 1921. Although we are the first charity in Hong Kong to deal with all aspects of animal welfare, we obtain around only 1% of our funding from the government. The rest of our funding comes from the generosity of the general public, for which we are extremely grateful. It is a constant challenge to raise the funds necessary to continue our work. We believe that animals are living creatures which like humans, are able to feel pain, hunger and thirst. We should not inflict any suffering upon our fellow creatures just because they can't speak.
