Crusade Universal Baptist Church (Hong Kong) Limited

Consumers Acting For People And The Environment Limited

In 2005, CAPE gained charitable status and has been tax-exempt under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Hong Kong). We are the first NGO in Hong Kong to emphasize the role of consumers in acting for environmental issues. While generally regarded as a green group, we define ourselves as a grassroots group that focuses on how modern consumption patterns have detrimental effects on the environment and on the lives of both modern and tribal peoples. The world is full of living beings of which the human race is only one species. However, our daily consumption exploits nature. Indigenous and traditional cultures recognize that they are but a part of a community of plant, animal, and spirit beings, and live in harmony with the land and the complex ecological systems upon which they depend. Our mission is to build a sense of responsibility and stewardship, thus shifting behavior towards responsible consumption.

Conservative Baptist Jubilee Church Limited
Human ServicesIn 1943, Baptist pastors and church members gathered together to pray and discuss starting a new mission because for many years some Northern Baptists had been fighting for some Northern Baptist leaders and missionaries. They did not accept the inerrancy of the Bible. At this meeting, these believers who fully accepted the inerrancy of the Bible felt that the time was ripe and decided to organize a missionary meeting that fully accepted the inerrancy of the Bible. Therefore, the "Northern American Baptist Missionary Association" (Conservative) was established.
