Human Services本會始於1888年，其時福音工作伊始，未為教會訂名，首所堂會就以所在地命名為「瑞仁大街禮拜堂」。其後堂會數目增多，於三十年後，即在1918年，改名為「美瑞丹公理會」（美即美國、瑞即瑞典、而丹即丹麥）。其時，會務仍是由美國母會中國區差會主理。 及至1920年，首次正式由中西代表合組董事會，稱為「美瑞丹教會中西董事聯合會」。從此，組織遂繼續發展。 1931年，中西同工均有感，要和應母會「中國」之本位，及表達本會廣傳福音之一貫精神與目標，故決定將名稱改訂為「中國基督教播道會」，而聯合的機構則稱為「中國基督教播道會總會」。 至1949年，本會進入一個新的時期。粵省各支堂因環境因素，宣告與本會「脫離關係」，而本會總部亦於此期遷來香港。在港發展期間，本會按香港法例於1957年註冊，由各堂會另派代表組織「香港基督教播道會聯會」。此後，該組織就代表本會辦理一切有關法律及須由「法定代表」處理的工作。

Kong Fok Church was founded in 1984 with a mission to reach out and serve the community in Central, the main business district of Hong Kong. Since 2014, we have adopted a new mission of "Growing the Kingdom of God on Earth through sharing the gospel, making disciples, and serving the community". We have started a Mandarin congregation and an English congregation in August and October of 2016, respectively.

The medical ministry started as a medical centre in the Kowloon City area. The Hospital moved to its existing site in 1965 and was formally named the Evangel Hospital. A Board consisting of members appointed by the Evangelical Free Church of China is responsible for the overall operation of the Hospital. The objective of the Hospital is to demonstrate the compassion of God through the provision of holistic care by ministering to serve the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the whole person. The Hospital provides quality health care services in the spirit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Oblate members consecrate themselves to God by taking Vows of Chastity, Obedience, Poverty and Eucharistic Adoration while living a consecrated life at home and in the working place so as to continue supporting or caring for the family. Mission: By advocating Eucharistic adoration for those broken in human relationships, body, mind, heart and/or soul, the Oblate leads them closer to the Lord to be healed and sanctified. The Oblate offers Mass for its members on the 2nd and 25th of each month and arranges for them a monthly formation programme and an annual retreat.

Human Services自1905年開始，位於中國華中地區(包括河南、湖北、湖南、陝西四省)的豫中總會，其所屬美國奧古斯坦納差會，委派易德文夫婦來華，在河南中部開始傳福音工作。直至1949年為止，該會已有受洗信徒七千多人。 記敘以上一段事蹟，為要帶出永生堂的成立和發展與它們有著一定的歷史淵源。以下便是永生堂歷年的大事簡記，盼望能閱讀本文的朋友，對這個上帝的家－永生堂有一概略的認識和了解。 1952 : 朱蒙恩師母於李鄭屋村傳福音，堂會名稱為「基督教香港信義會李鄭屋村禮 拜堂」。 1953 : 屈金山長老任職傳道及平民識字班校長。 1956 : 何榮輝長老任職傳道。 1957 : 本堂申辦了天台小學。 1959 : 香港信義會總會接納本堂成為香港信義會轄下之會員堂會。 1962 : 本堂改名為「永生堂」。 1963 : 聘請高潔謙教士為女傳道。 1965 : 遷堂至保安道。 1967 : 王靜濤教師按立為牧師。 1968 : 推行自立自養計劃。 1974 : 天台小學停辦。 1976 : 搬入新堂址 : 醫局街 128-132 號金輝樓四樓聚會。（即現址） 1977 : 文德惠牧師任本堂助理牧師。 1986 : 聘請本堂實習神學生柯尊輝為本堂教師。 1987 : 王靜濤牧師榮休。 1989 : 柯尊輝教師被按立為牧師。 1993 : 王靜濤牧師主懷安息。 2001 : 柯尊輝牧師辭職，白德生牧師為暫代牧師牧養本堂。 2004 : 聘請鄧振成先生為本堂教師。 2006 : 鄧振成教師辭職。 2007 : 林德皓牧師擔任本堂聖禮牧師。 2008 : 馬漢欽牧師擔任本堂聖禮牧師。同年吳玉芬教師到任。 2011 : 吳玉芬教師按立為牧師，聘請李家強先生為本堂教師。 2012 : 本堂 60 週年堂慶。

Gabriele Allegra, founder of the Studium Biblicum Hong Kong, he mentioned of his desire to open a Bible Centre where Bible lessons could be taught, exhibitions be organized and other biblical activities be conducted in an atmosphere of prayer. 30 years later Fr Benjamin Leong, director of the Studium, wrote to the Franciscan Minister General, reiterating the unfulfilled dream of Blessed Fr Allegra and the opportune time to open such a centre in 2001. This dream was finally realized on Dec. 20th, 2003 when the Duns Scotus Bible Centre was officially blessed by the Vicar General of the Hong Kong diocese, Very Rev. Dominic Chan. Named after the patron of the Studium Biblicum, as Blessed Fr Allegra had desired, the Centre is located in Leighton Centre, Causeway Bay and is accessible by every public means of transport. As a leading Bible apostolate institute in the hub of the city, Duns Scotus Bible Centre provides a competent and dynamic service to the Chinese Church based on the Church’s teaching and always in a spirit of ecumenism, as planned by Blessed Fr.
