CAPS builds shared commitment to an improved social investment sector in Asia by: -Understanding fundamental strengths and cultural practices in Asia; -Researching and promoting public policies that best enable the giving and receiving of private social investment; -Working with philanthropists and corporate donors to increase the impact of their investments; -Enhancing the efficacy of organizations that deliver social services; -Influencing the adoption of business rigor and tools in the charitable sector; and -Creating a regional community of stakeholders working toward these shared goals.

EducationInternational and Foreign AffairsAsia Society Hong Kong Center is a cultural, artistic, and intellectual hub that presents a broad variety of programs in the form of workshops, lectures, performances, film screenings, art exhibitions, and more, to all members of the community. The 1.3 hectares heritage campus is steeped in history, cultural significance, and natural beauty, and houses a group of four former British military buildings, originally built in the mid-19th century. Through careful conservation, restoration and adaptive re-use, this heritage site was successfully re-opened to the Hong Kong community in 2012. Asia Society Hong Kong Center was established in 1990 entirely with local funding and is supported through membership dues, fundraising events, and contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations that work together to support and advance its mission.
