Religion Related本會(前身為當代聖經出版社)於1987年11月成立,目標是把聖經翻譯成淺白易明的當代文體,使普羅大眾都能明白其中的真理。1992年,當代聖經出版社總會與國際聖經協會合併成為一獨立之新機構,本會亦更名為國際聖經協會,目標仍然是支援堂會,用聖經作傳福音和栽培信徒的事工。2003年本會再次進入一個全新階段,成為普世華人教會所屬的聖經機構:“漢語聖經協會”。 新名稱反映了一些新的實質,卻也沒有忽略原有根基和定位:專注服侍全球華人社羣和華人教會,支援堂會成長,建構聖經文化。為將我們的服侍延展至世界各地華人羣體,加拿大漢語聖經協會、美國漢語聖經協會及台灣的國際漢語聖經出版社相繼成立。為的是要完成上帝交託我們的使命:“聖經傳萬家,救恩臨天下”。 我們的異象 「聖經傳萬家,救恩臨天下」是漢語聖經協會(漢協)的異象。漢協是一個致力推動華人聖經事工的機構,並將聖經出版與宣教理念結合,透過向全球中文讀者提供不同媒介與類型的聖經讀本和研經材料,讓信徒與非信徒從聖經中認識神,生命得到改變。我們從四方面進發,達成這項目標:聖經翻譯、聖經培育、聖言中心和聖經外展事工。

EducationHuman Services自中華人民共和國成立以後,1950年代開始已有不少港生回國升學,文化大革命期間回國升學活動停止, 1977年中國恢復高考後,香港學生亦有報考,但人數一直不多, 回內地升學學生人數回歸後初期亦未見大幅增加,至2001年及2002年,回國升學學生人數才有較大幅增長, 2007年約有4000多香港學生到內地升讀大學本科或預科課程。 隨著內地經濟及教育起飛,中國大學學歷在世界上獲得廣泛認可, 北京大學、清華大學等知名高校近年亦打入世界大學排名榜的前列。 世界上不少經濟學家更預言中國在三十到五十年內經濟上就可趕上甚至超越美國成為世界第一大經濟體系, 中文現在亦已成為僅次於英語的最重要國際語言,連不少跨國公司亦開始聘請熟悉中國文化、 掌握簡體字及普通話的員工。加上國家「十一五規劃」的實施及內地與香港更緊密經貿關係CEPA的推行, 越來越多港人穿梭中港兩地從事商貿工作或長駐內地工作,在內地大學取得大學學位, 將有助港生了解內地文化,建立社交網絡,為將來事業發展奠定良好基礎。 2006年國家教育部更公報,回內地升學的港生在學費上享有國民待遇, 即每年學費為4000多至5000多元,大大減輕家長的負擔。 2007年及2008年報考內地大學的學生人數都繼續增加,一個內地升學的熱潮正在形成中。 我們預計,幾年內,每年到內地升中小學、預科、大學及研究院的學生總人數可大幅增加至上萬人。
