陸牧師母女還未回到美國前,陸慕德牧師(Homer)已於1948年息勞歸主。陸秀貞牧師 (Beatrice)偕母回國,正好侍奉在側,讓母親頤養天年!惜其母陸以平牧師(Emma)身 體漸弱,亦於1955年因心臟病發而離世,享壽79 歲。 1957年,陸秀貞牧師(Beatrice)已年過60,本不是承擔開荒工作之年紀,但她沒有放下宣 教的負擔,從美國來到香港(已不能回到中國了) 得到來自上海的弟兄姊妹接待,開始了 家庭聚會。看來陸秀貞牧師心底的宣教使命仍然旺盛,再加上顧念母親的遺志、昔日會友的 需要(他們應是一直有保持聯絡) 再次踏上宣教的腳步,開始靈真堂的故事… 除了來自上海的弟兄姊妹外,後來一些從溫州來的家庭,也邀請陸牧師為他們主領家庭聚 會;由於人數漸多,便於土瓜灣北帝街22號三樓租用一單位開設教會,仍以「以馬內利傳道 會」命名,再加上「靈真堂」三字(Emmanuel MissionarySociety Gospel Assembly Church) 那時教會以群體佈道為主,以上海人為主要福音對象;故教會內近九成都是上海人,可說是 一間上海人教會!靈真堂立會的日期是1960年9月21日。 此時陸牧師已屆65歲,不太可能一個人完成教會種種牧養、教導、關顧等工作,加上香港是 華人社會,總得需要有華人的同工,才能把教會的事工做得深入和廣泛;惟一直找不到合適 人選。1961年4月,教會聘得于宅安先生(Stephen)為傳道人,于傳道為中華基督教傳道 會會友,畢業於香港聖經學院(香港神學院前身),後在廣大書院(後合併為中大的聯合書 (院)進修社教系。于傳道成了陸牧師同心事奉的好同工,且忠心事奉多年,奠定了靈真堂的 軸心基礎:主日學、少年團、婦女會、弟兄會、查經班、祈禱會和兩堂的主日崇拜。在神恩 保守下,信主人數年年加增。

旺角是香港最繁盛的地區，行人如鯽，車水馬龍，不分晝夜。然而就在此間，就在萬頭湧動的高處，一幢道堂踞於其上，猶如一棵參天的老松，以其漫綠濃葉，庇蔭著不絕如縷的芸芸眾生 — 這就是松蔭園佛道社。 松蔭園始創於一九五五年夏天。時始創人葉培鈞道長蒙濟佛鸞示，設壇以普救群黎。遂與皈依弟子二十一人，以『贈醫施藥、惠助群倫、佛道教義、普濟眾生』為宗旨，合力於九龍福華街五號二樓創壇。道壇初名「松蔭園」繼改稱「松蔭園佛教社」。壇內恭奉觀世音菩薩、呂祖仙師、濟公活佛、華佗仙師及張三峯祖師，因佛道同參，後再更名為「松蔭園佛道社」，遷壇於亞皆老街六十九至七十一號六樓。 松蔭園創壇後，以開展善業作為首要任務，如義派棉衣，捐款賑災等，皆踴躍參與，不甘後人。另外，還曾為貧者施棺，包括功德法事，一概施贈。而在醫療方面，道壇很早便實行贈醫施藥，又監製成藥如呂仙丹等免費派發。另有氣功師駐壇為患者治療。每周所舉行之鸞事活動，亦歡迎善信問方取藥。由於道壇廣結善緣，因而道務迅速擴展。一九六四年道壇斥資購下現址彌敦道五七八至五八〇號其中單位遷入，然後又陸續購置相鄰單位，至今道壇已發展成為佔現址大廈三層，面積寛敝，殿宇輝煌的莊嚴道場。 一九七〇年，道壇依照不牟利慈善機構法例申請註冊為慈善社團，從此道壇進入新的發展時期。為擴大服務範圍，於黃大仙鳳凰新村鳳德道開設分社濟廬佛社，並在分社二樓開設濟法診所，延聘西醫，贈診施藥，深受當地居民歡迎。經過多年的發展，目前道壇有弟子眾多。除主要仙佛誕期均有活動外，慶燈勝會，誕期法會及九皇誕拜斗等為重要慶典。道壇乃自設訓練班，培訓弟子成經生，以為各種法會、法事活動醮制科儀之需。

鐘聲慈善社成立於 1915 年，由本港音樂及粵劇界前輩陳紹棠、錢廣仁、李善卿、何澤民等四位所倡辦。初名「鐘聲劇團」，同人公餘之暇，研習音樂劇藝，並粉墨登場，演唱於省港澳等地，旨在移風易俗及發揚中國傳統道德文化。1919 年正名為「鐘聲慈善社」，並推舉當時本港著名紳商曾富先生為首屆社長。除了致力於慈善救濟事業外，並以提倡體育、推行義務教育及發揚音樂戲劇藝術為宗旨。百年以來，在同人努力耕耘和各界指導匡扶支持之下，善業日益發展，現在已成為少數超過百年歷史的多元化非牟利慈善團體。

鄧英善牧師於1992年，在香港成立聖經信息協會有限公司（Bible Exposition Society Ltd）。協會的使命和事奉是要把研讀聖經和神學教育普及化。訓練在聖經和真理上有系統學習的信徒，裝備更多熱心研經、行道和願意教導人的主的門徒。 在過去多年，鄧牧師與多位牧者攜手合作，在香港各教會，開辦一系列聖經和神學課程，範圍涵蓋聖經六十六卷書，系統神學，靈命進深證書課程，和其它有關學科的講座。根據資料統計，在香港1992-1997年間，有大約三千多人曾經修讀過協會主辦的課程，造就了兩屆結業同學，成績令人鼓舞。

神召會 “Assemblies of God”，希腊文是 “ekklesia”，意即「被召出來的一群」。源起於美國人巴咸 （Charles Fox Parham 1873-1929） 及西摩 （William J. Seymour1870-1922） 兩人有關。前者1901於堪薩斯洲托皮加市 （ Kansas， Topeka ） 伯特利聖經學院與學生首先得著靈浸經驗，後者1906年於洛杉磯亞蘇沙街132號 （ Azusa Street 132 ） 將巴咸的靈浸經驗發揚光大。 1906年亞蘇沙街大復興爆發後，美國各地刊物報章爭先恐後報導聚會情況，每天吸引無數信徒及好奇者慕名而至，得著靈浸經驗的信徒回到本土後，都不遺餘力推動五旬節信仰，帶動各地成立五旬節信仰教會。 五旬節信仰初期發展波折重重，除遭教會界大肆批評為異端歪說，自己圍內亦因神學見解不同分成兩派。面對外患內憂，催逼五旬節信仰教會發出呼聲，要求成立一個可以容納神學觀點相近的組織。
