About the organisation
本會接受基督所託傳福音的使命，藉教育、恤孤、頤老、出版等事工以達資傳福音、領人歸主、培育信徒、發揚真道為宗旨。 創會簡介 1914年11月22日上午11時，為該堂舉行開幕奉獻典禮。是時亦聘得華人傳道一人，與李牧師夫婦等，開始聚會，三人站立禮堂中，而門外站滿華人弟兄姐妹，彼輩不願入禮堂，為求坊眾獲益，故同唱詩：「有福的確據，耶穌屬我。」當唱畢一節時，全堂告滿，其餘會眾有站於門外通道上，此乃本會初創時之情況！
