本會致力於服務精神病患者及其家屬，在他們的復元及康復道路上提供支援及意見。 令服務可接觸廣泛的群體，讓公眾受惠。 聯盟於2018年4月註冊成為社團正式運作，在2020年成立有限公司， 是稅務局第88條認可的慈善團體。 創會目的 關注精神聯盟CMHA未來會繼續努力進行推廣及教育工作， 為公眾、患者及家屬提供正確資訊， 從而消除公眾對病患的誤解， 達致傷健共融的理念。
