About the organisation
The Dance with Depression Association is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Chan Wan Tung in Hong Kong. It is the first organization in Hong Kong to provide support groups for people with depression. The association is composed of a group of professional psychiatrists, family doctors, psychological counseling doctors, psychological counselors and social workers. By promoting support groups for people with depression, the association encourages group members to support each other, adapt to life, and integrate into the community. The association believes that the combination of drug treatment, personal counseling, and support groups is the most effective way to treat depression. The mission of the Dance with Depression Association is to provide support and assistance to individuals suffering from depression and their families. The association envisions a society where people with depression are understood, supported, and empowered to live fulfilling lives.
