About the organisation
The Early Psychosis Foundation (EPISO) was established in 2007 and became a registered charitable organization in 2009. It is founded and run by a group of dedicated, experienced professionals, academics, and community members who are committed to improving services for individuals with psychotic disorders. The Foundation aims to integrate research and clinical experience and to work closely with relevant organizations to promote high-quality psychosis services, professional training, and health education initiatives.
Mission
1. Foster destigmatization of psychosis and related disorders by providing educational and mental health promotional activities. 2. Promote channels for timely help-seeking and early diagnosis of psychosis and related disorders. 3. Facilitate the translation of scientific and clinical knowledge into educational information and effective intervention practices. 4. Provide training and consultation services to allow clinical and research findings to inform relevant professional workers in Hong Kong.
