- 香港路德會協同堂開基肇始於美國路德會總會籌辦興建路德會協同中學新的校舍。於1957年秋天，協同中學遷入九龍大坑東道12號新校舍上課。同年10月，美國路德會總會便差派宣教士，在協同中學禮堂，成立教會，並開展福音工作。 本教會謹遵照上帝的教訓和主耶穌大使命的呼召，一直以來，以信、以愛及充滿感恩和盼望的心，在社區和學校裡積極推展福音工作，領人歸主，擴展上帝的國度。
