- 浸信宣道會明頌堂源自母會浸信宣道會明基堂。於1996年因秀茂坪邨重建，母會需由明基小學遷堂至大角咀，部份肢體留在原址明基小學繼續發展區內福音事工，成立明基堂(秀茂坪)分堂，至2003年5月正式改名為「浸信宣道會明頌堂」。本堂在觀塘及牛頭角區服侍居民已逾廿年，透過崇拜、團契、主日學等，牧養教會內不同群體，包括長者、成人、職青、青少年及兒童。
