The Employees' Compensation Insurance Levies Management Board, established on 1 July 1990 under the Employees' Compensation Insurance Levies Ordinance (Chapter 411), is responsible for the collection and distribution of the levy remitted by insurers.
Functions
- To collect the levy remitted by insurers;
- To make recommendations to the Chief Executive in Council with respect to the rate of levy ; and
- To distribute its net resources to the bodies specified in the Employees' Compensation Insurance Levies Ordinance
