Description: Hong Kong Cancer Fund is the city’s largest cancer support organisation, providing free professional support to anyone living with or affected by cancer. Established in 1987, our vision was to better the quality of cancer support in Hong Kong and ensure that no one faces cancer alone. We aim to bridge the gaps in cancer care and making life better for people touched by cancer through our FREE professional service, public education campaigns, cancer research and support to public hospitals. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
