Description: This Fund was created with an initial donation of $1 million by Sir Shiu-kin Tang to commemorate Sir Robert Black's governorship. The Fund is managed by a Statutory Committee set up under the Sir Robert Black Trust Fund Ordinance (Cap. 1101). Fund Objectives The Fund aims to provide - Type I grants: Grants to social welfare or youth organisations and other suitable institutions in support of local or overseas development programmes (e.g. leadership training courses, study tours and conferences with a high training element) which they organise or participate in through representation or delegation. Type II awards: Awards to individuals for postgraduate studies or other training programmes, local or overseas. Method of Application Applications for Type I grants or Type II awards are invited through press advertisements in mid January every year. Applications may be returned to the Sir Robert Black Trust Fund Secretariat, Room 34/F, Wu Chung House, 213 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.; "Silver Go" Service Limited is a registered charitable institution in Hong Kong, recognised under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. The organisation is dedicated to serving the elderly community. It provides supportive programs such as its 'Worry-Free Services' to enhance the well-being and peace of mind for seniors.
