We commit to work on physical, mental health and happiness. We served over 13,000 youngsters with over 50% from underprivileged groups. We created running opportunities for over 130,000 runners through 40 scaled events. Our impact projects and running events are with specific objectives to improve their confidence, perseverance, physical strengths and mental health. Our signature impact projects includes: Youth.ROC (running training for beginners), Youth.ONE school running clubs (from fresh runners to career development as coaches and project management), Running for Development of SEN students. To redefine and rebrand "running" as not so boring, tough, for the elites perception, we organize various running events. On top of building positive running culture to attract more people (specially youth) to join running, the running events contribute to our financial sustainability that the net proceeds will go to support our own impact projects. Our running events cover road-running races, e.g. HONG KONG STREETATHON (average 10,000 runners in each annual episode), trail-running races "TOTEM RUN", and other fun runs including hong kong ladies run, Hong Kong Beard Run, the BackStreet Art and Run, etc. With the Covid Pandemic, we have extended our positioning and broaden our services from running to holistic wellness to include exercise, nutrition, rest and communication. We expand our focus on youth to specialize in families and SEN students. We have our newly developed BEE Family Coach project and Running for development of SEN Students. Both are especially important for during pandemic and post pandemic to enhance behavioral and lifestyle changes for long term physical and mental health. Last but not the least, we have created the Run To The Moon campaign to encourage regular running habit while embraces the concept of "united citizenship" - especially during the current political, economical and public health challenges in Hong Kong. The campaign idea is to consolidate all participants' mileages to run from Hong Kong to reach the Moon (~384,400km). We achieved in 2020 and then we grew 6 times in 2021 in number of participants (~7,000 runners) and 3 times in mileage (over 1 million km). Pandemic hurts right head on to RunOurCity as our programs are relying on outdoor, face to face, in person connection to create the authentic human touch. However, we keep innovation and changes to fit the everchanging needs of the community. We, RunOurCity, the organization, shows our confidence and persistency - like running.
