Our foundation focuses in advancement of education with the following objectives: Education Exchange (Communicate and Discuss) Facilitate education exchange between Hong Kong post-secondary institutions with other post-secondary colleges and universities especially from Asian and African countries. Research Programme (Academic and Scientific) Provide education programmes to facilitate students to study and research in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels especially on Asian and African studies (the research findings are disseminated to the public). Financial Support (Sponsor and Cultivate) Provide financial support such as scholarship and fellowship for eligible students to study in both local and overseas colleges and universities.

The Education Scholarships Fund (ESF) is a statutory trust fund established in 1955 under the Education Scholarships Fund Ordinance, Chapter 1085 of the Laws of Hong Kong, which is vested in Permanent Secretary for Education as the sole trustee and provides for the administration and management of donations placed under the Fund in accordance with the terms expressed by the donors. The Student Finance Office provides secretarial support to the Fund and the Director of Accounting Services / his representative serves as the Treasurer.

DSOBA Charitable Foundation Limited

In recent years since possibly 2005, there has been a widespread sentiment amongst old boys that there is a need to assist boys who wish to pursue their dreams but cannot do so because of the lack of funds. It is ironic that while DBS is developing a super campus second to none in the territory, enhanced development of its boys may have been somehow overlooked. DSOBA decided to bravely step into this hiatus in 2009 and explore the idea of setting up a trust fund in aid of boys who may be in need of funds in the course of their pursuit of academic, musical or sporting excellence. At round about the same time, several old boys donated to DBS seed money to start the S.J. Lowcock Foundation (“the Foundation”) in honour of our ex-headmaster. The Foundation’s aim is to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students of DBS to enable them to continue with their tertiary education either locally or overseas. The foundation was initially managed by DBS and the seed money was already used up by 2010 when the CFL Trust was honoured with the responsibility to administer the Foundation from 2010 onwards. DSOBA quickly adopted the Foundation under its wings, which effectively becomes the first and flagship project under the CFL Trust.

The East Asia SENDing Council was established in 2001 to facilitate the sending of local Christians into missions. Hong Kong Christians have since gone with SEND on short-term trips and into full-time ministry to countries like Taiwan, Russia, and Japan. The recruitment and equipment of Hong Kong Christians for missions has become the main ministry thrust now in Hong Kong for SEND. 融樹頭創意藝術文化基金會（下稱:「融樹頭」） 由一班愛好教育、藝術創作、魔術的年青人，於2010年6月15日根據社團條例成立之社團。經過三年的努力，「融樹頭」決定擴展其藝術文化教育推動工作至社會大眾，尤其是青少年人及長者的。「融樹頭」於2013年6月10日根據公司條例成立「融樹頭創意藝術文化基金會有限公司Dramagic Cultural Arts Foundation Limited」。 「融樹頭」致力支持、推動和實現教育及創意藝術的核心使命，在尊重共同價值觀的基礎上為不同特殊需要、文化和年齡層之間開展對話創造條件，實現可持續發展的全球願景，包括長者教育，生命教育，特殊教育等。「融樹頭」近年主力推動不同年齡層的教育及進優課程。有見香港近年對特殊教育支援的需求漸趨增多，「融樹頭」近年致力關注環保教育、生命教育、長者教育的發展，並設計一系統的課程以協助特殊需要的學生，並配合學校的課程發展。「融樹頭」團隊擁有豐富的教學及表演藝術經驗，以支援各類型之到校活動。

Aspiring to share with you the beauty of ancient Chinese art via our collection of terra cotta horses from Han Dynasty BC 206-AD 220 to Ming Dynasty AD 1368-1644, a significant time-line which links up the role of Horses with Chinese art, culture and history. As a focus of human interest in the ancient world, horses have been considered beautiful, noble and powerful – they symbolize the strength of a kingdom. The wonderful collection of art in this book is a reminder of this strong attraction. Being aware of the fact that the future prosperity, the well-being of the country and its people are dependent on the advancement of educational level of the citizens, Dragon Culture Charity Fund Limited is set up. Having spent nearly ten years on the collection with more than a million Hong Kong dollars put into the research, design and production of this book, all gross proceeds from the sales of Horses for Eternity will go to the Fund for the development of basic education in deprived rural areas in Mainland China as well as to support many other needy ones in our society. As a contribution to the Chinese Culture, we hope more people can share the passion for Chinese art and history.

Dr. Lily Fenn Education Foundation Limited (the “Foundation”) is a registered charity incorporated in Hong Kong in 2014. It is currently chaired by Dr. Lily Fenn and operated under the leadership of five other directors of the Board. The Foundation is established to advance education in law and/or aviation, as well as to inspire young people by offering them opportunities to explore and study different areas of law and aviation. In furtherance of the objects of the Foundation but not otherwise, the Foundation grants scholarships and awards to such university undergraduates or fresh university graduates in Hong Kong who are interested in law and/or aviation education, as the Foundation thinks fit, to acquire academic, vocational or professional qualifications or degrees in law and/or aviation education in universities, educational institutions or training organizations.
