For over 25 years, the Foundation has sought to raise public awareness of Thalassaemia in Hong Kong. It strives to improve the quality of life of Thalassaemia patients and works to eradicate the disorder through treatment and prevention. The Foundation contributes towards the financing of medical research as well as organising medical exchange symposiums. The Foundation also works closely with doctors to make sure patients and their parents are kept informed and involved in treatment decision along with appropriate counselling. The Foundation has made significant inroads in fulfilling its objective. This has not been possible without the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of its members. But the road is long and there much more work needs to be done.

Children's Medical Foundation Limited
HealthCMF works with hospitals to train health care professionals, increase local capacity, and improve medical infrastructure. CMF strives to develop sustainable and cost-effective maternal and child health care models that can create a big impact on lowering neonatal mortality rate. Since 1995 CMF has: • Established 98 Neonatal Intensive Care Units across 12 provinces to treat critically-ill newborn babies in rural, underserved areas of China • Performed life-saving surgeries for more than 973 critically-ill newborns • Provided pediatric training for over 3,374 doctors and nurses to 1,140 county hospitals in disadvantaged China • Transported more than 1,040 newborns to safety through CMF's Mobile Emergency Response Unit • Provided financial assistance to 433 babies and families who otherwise could not afford lifesaving treatment • Been treating 68,000 babies or 8 babies each hour through their network of hospitals

Children's Heart Foundation
HealthPublic and Societal BenefitThe Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF), a registered charity, was founded by a group of concerned parents, medical staffs and volunteers in 1994. Working closely with the Department of Paediatric Cardiology of Queen Mary Hospital, we are the only NGO in Hong Kong which is devoted to supporting children with congenital heart disease and their families. The Foundation promotes mutual helps among parents and patients to overcome the challenges encountered when facing and caring for these special children. We offer tangible support for children in receiving medical treatment, acquisition of essential medical equipment, sponsoring research on diagnosis and treatment as well as providing overnight accommodation for parents of hospitalized children, etc. At the same time, we render psychological support by organizing developmental training for these special children providing counselling for parents in need.

Chi Heng Foundation Limited
HealthPublic and Societal BenefitChi Heng Foundation (CHF) was founded in 1998 and is a registered charity in Hong Kong. Chi Heng’s work in China focuses on providing comprehensive care and support to AIDS impacted children, with education being the main focus. Since 2002, CHF has been providing assistance to these children in Central China, so that they can continue their schooling. As of 2022, CHF has cumulatively sponsored over 32,000 AIDS impacted children, including primary, junior high, senior high and university students. CHF has set up local offices in Henan, Anhui and Yunnan Provinces to follow up on the needs of the children and provide timely assistance. Work of Chi Heng includes the followings: 1. Education Sponsorship Program – Education is the main focus of CHF’s AIDS Orphan Project. CHF offers three Education Programs: Basic Sponsorship, Merit-based Award, and Need-based Subsidy. Students receive funding from primary school through university. 2. Psycho-social Support Program – Including home visits, material assistance, summer camps, university campus tours, visits to businesses and art counseling. 3. Program for Children with HIV – A small number of CHF children are infected with HIV. They are most in need of health care, material assistance and various social programs. CHF assesses these needs on a case-by-case basis and provides required assistance. 4. Vocational Training & Career Development – CHF provides vocational training and placement referral to the sponsored students, so that they can find a job after graduation. 5. Community Self Help Support – CHF offers summer internship and long term job opportunities to AIDS-impacted university students in our programs with the hope of empowering them to become role models, like big brothers and big sisters, for younger AIDS-impacted children and encouraging them to give back to their communities. Many of the AIDS-impacted university graduates who were previously supported by CHF have become our volunteers and paid staff. They have formed a community self-help network and play an important role in the design and implementation of the AIDS Orphans Program.

Our Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neurodiagnostic and Brain Health clinics are conducted by an experienced and dedicated group of specialists. Our charitable arm the Brain Centre Foundation offers a wide range of services including educational activities for brain disorders and brain health as well as financial aids for treatment for the underprivileged. GOALS -Promotion of brain health and public interests in common brain diseases such as stroke, headache, brain tumors etc. The BCF has in the past conducted public education forums on stroke, headache, and Parkinson’s disease. -Subsidize expensive treatments such as Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, and Gamma Knife Surgery for brain metastases for the underprivileged. -Sponsorship of neurosurgery for Chinese orphan babies suffering from neural-tube defects. Since 2005, Dr Yu and later Dr Fan perform surgery for these abandoned babies on a demand basis, most of them in cooperation with University Children Hospital in Suzhou, China. -Support research in neuroscience.

Bethel China is a not-for-profit organization that provides foster care, training and therapy for Chinese orphans who are blind or visually impaired. Based in the Philippines, on the island of Cebu, the SPACE Project (Special People Accessing Creative Education) was launched by The Bethel Foundation in 2012. latest project. The project provides education for disadvantaged children living in the slums. While being active in Cebu, The Bethel Foundation also provided first response support to those affected by the Yolanda Typhoon. Project Butterfly provides leadership and counseling to non-profits. The project provides individual coaching, educational materials, and retreats to those seeking to take their project to the next level. While The Bethel Foundation continues to support these three projects, the Foundation is researching new projects for the future.
