The objectives for which the Foundation is established are: - To advance the protection of the environment in Hong Kong - To protect the global marine ecology and conservation of natural marine resources - To increase public interest in environment education and oceanic conservation - To grant assistance to candidates for their education, which provide formal training in global marine ecology and oceanic conservation. As a leading conservation and education organisation based in Hong Kong, we promote sustainable living lifestyles through public education and celebrity-driven mass media campaigns. We also strive to inspire a great love of nature so that together we can learn how to responsibly maintain the vital balance that supports all life as we know it.

Following after Dr. Gail Law’s footsteps, E-Tendance takes up a new paradigm in intercultural ministry which is backed by a blessing motif for the Creative Access Districts where overt preaching is unwelcome prohibited, or even deemed illegal. To overcome the restriction and cultural barrier, we have to employ creative means to approach the unreached people groups. Christ’s love is indispensable in whatever approach to serve the unengaged people in the light of biblical teaching. Based on the doctrine of man and the theology of blessing, our ministry is developed in the following aspects: 1. Creative Access Fieldwork: We support the fieldwork in Creative Access Districts. We further develop relevant theology, knowledge, skillset, and training materials for intercultural workers and volunteers. The ultimate goal of cross cultural ministry is to build up the indigenous followers with the competence of self-governance, self-support, self-propagating, and self-theologizing. 2. Missional Church: We mobilize faith communities to actively take part in blessing all nations. In the New Testament, each disciple plays either the role of (a) sending workers out or (b) being sent to the field for taking the whole gospel to the whole world. 3. Seminary: We share the theology of blessing to equip the next generation of intercultural workers. 4. Faith Organizations: We form a strategic network with like-minded organizations and promote exchanges among partners to facilitate the advancement through a collaborative effort.

Established by Mr. Chiu Kwong-chiu in 2001, the Design and Cultural Studies Workshop is dedicated to the research and promotion of traditional Chinese culture as well as contemporary art and design. The key research topics are “culture,” “design” and “Hong Kong.” We employ various ways of promotion and attempts in various areas, including book publications, digital media, exhibitions, educational projects, etc. We collaborate earnestly with organizations in China, Hong Kong and overseas to enhance the general understanding and interest of learning traditional Chinese culture. Light On is incorporated in Hong Kong under limited by guarantee. On 14th February, 2017, Light On Charity Limited has been granted tax exemption status under the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance Section 88. Light On’s IR File no. is 91/14663. Light On has two main focuses: First, Light On has completed re-construction projects at its first and second schools in Lamjung, Nepal. Currently, Light On is focusing on the self-sustaining aspect of these Lamjung villages. So when sailing in the dark sea, they can still find the beacon of life or a small beam of light, that leads them forward. Third, right after the 2015 earthquake, we had delivered over 8 tonnes of materials, benefitting more than 700 families. Moreover, as the Covid-19 pandemic hit Nepal hard in 2021, we had also distributed hot meals and food packages to nearly 4,500 people.
