Haven of Hope District Elderly Community Service was founded on 1 April, 2003. Our concern for elderly’s holistic health urged us to develop a multi-spot-and-station community service network for elderly living nearby. Working closely with our stakeholders, we offer diversified, interdisciplinary and comprehensive elderly community service for healthy or frail elderly. Scope of Service - Prevention and development services: Develop elderly’s potential, raise their health awareness and attention so to promote a fruitful and healthy life in their old age - Support services for frail elderly or elderly in need: Explore solitary and hidden elderly and support their lives in community, assist elderly with chronic diseases by building support network and backing up the caregivers to enhance their caring knowledge - Volunteer and resources development: Build a caring community through organizing, training and promoting individual and group volunteer services - Counselling and remedial services: Help elderly to handle emotional, interpersonal, familial, life or financial difficulties

JCI is an organization created for young leaders ages 18-40. It is focused on professional development, economic opportunities and creative solutions to problems through all levels and corridors of society. We are developing leaders for a changing world. JCI Hong Kong, established in 1950, have about 2000 members representing a network of highly motivated and forward looking young men and women who are mostly entrepreneurs or executives from a wide range of trades and businesses. 防癌天使服務協會是政府注冊非牟利團體 。由一班熱心社會服務的醫生 、護士 、化驗師組成 。協會成立於一九八七年 。朱建華顧問醫生現任本會主席。 預防勝於治療 ！協會宗旨是致力推動香港防癌工作 。重點是癌症的預防 。 現今癌症已成為危害生命的頭號殺手 。在香港 ，肺癌 、肝癌 、腸癌 、鼻咽癌 、乳癌和子宮頸癌都是發生率較高的癌症 。不少癌症可以預防或減低其發病率 。例如乙型肝炎是引致肝癌的最主要原因 ，預防乙型肝炎就能有效地預防肝癌 。健康的飲食習慣能減低腸癌 、乳癌的發生 。不作性濫交 ，定期婦女子宮頸細胞檢查, 亦可接種預防子宮頸癌疫苗, 是可以預防或減少子宮頸癌的發生 。 防癌天使服務協會通過深入社會各階層(包括政府部門 、工廠 、商業機構 、學校 、教會 、老人院 、社團等)作免費防癌講座 ，參予健康展覽 、社區活動 ，對巿民進行癌症的預防教育 。講解有關癌症成因 ，癌症與飲食 、生活習慣 、遺傳的因素關係 ，以及癌症的早期症狀 。提高巿民健康意識和對癌症警覺性 。自創會以來總共作8000多場講座 ，參加人數約有40多萬人次 。 協會提供常見癌症的預防性或早期的檢查 。癌症早期大多沒有明顯的症狀 ，而出現典型症狀時經已到較後期 。目前癌症的治療效果關健在於早期發現 ，早期治療 。本會還致力推行用簡便而有效方法在普通人群中作篩選檢查 。發現高危險或早期癌症病人及時轉介政府或私家專科醫生 。近兩年來 ，經本會篩選檢查發現的鼻咽癌 、腸癌 、乳癌 ，前列腺癌均已轉送政府醫院或私家專科醫生治療 。 協會認為預防工作要從青少年做起 。本港乙型肝炎帶菌者佔總人口的百分之十 ，其中四分之一人會轉變成肝硬化或肝癌 。因此 ，協會積極協助學校為學生注射預防乙型肝炎疫苗針 。多年來已為過百間學校共過萬人注射疫苗，也提供hpv疫苗注射以防子宮頸癌。

馬浚偉先生熱衷表演藝術事業和文藝創作，深感培育傳承的重要性，特此於2017年成立非牟利機構「主創藝術坊」，延續對公益事業的堅持，實踐為社福界服務的心志。 「主創藝術坊」是以回饋社會為責任的非牟利組織，透過製作舞台演出、室內外表演活動、以及各項和表演藝術有關之活動和教育課程，從中製造不同的工作機會及相關訓練予有興趣參與的低收入人士、有能力但缺乏機會的各年齡組別的人士及社會基層及弱勢群體等，望能透過工作、實踐和學習，達到自我增值、增強對自我存在的肯定、加深對表演藝術之認識、及體會社會中的團隊合作精神。 此外，「主創藝術坊」會定期舉辦義工活動，讓參與者有機會直接服務社會， 體驗真正互助互愛、並透過表演藝術去認識生活，了解活著的真諦。

Hong Kong Paws Foundation (HK Paws) is a locally registered, non-profit animal welfare charity, operated by a group of dedicated volunteers on generous donations. We rescue cats and dogs that have been abused, abandoned, injured, and displaced. Through veterinary treatment, behavior training, socialization, and foster services - and by prioritizing animal welfare - we hope to eventually rehome every one of them to the best possible match of adopters. Since early 2005, we have been working closely with local animal shelters, fosters and adopters, rehoming thousands of cats and dogs. In October 2011, HK Paws was officially recognized by the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department as a Hong Kong charity (Charity No.: 91/11168). In 2022, The Bow-Wow Inn by HK Paws was born as a halfway house for dogs waiting to be rehomed. Operating a boarding center on our own relieves us from the pressure of jam-packed local shelters and dwindling foster help in recent years. It allows us to organize rescue operations with great confidence that we could provide immediate care and shelter for furry kids in need.

The purpose for the establishment of The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences ("the Academy") is to promote the development and advancement of science and technology in Hong Kong, and to raise the city’s profile as a centre of scientific excellence. The idea of the establishment of an academy had floated informally for many years, but the SARS crisis in 2003 dramatised the need for a high-level local organisation that could provide leadership and reassurance at such a time. In 2006, a working group was formed under the chairmanship of Professor Chi-Ming Che of The University of Hong Kong. In 2008, a proposal was prepared and submitted to the HKSAR Government. As subsequent discussion showed that the situation was not fully mature, it was decided to wait for some more time. Vision The Academy thrives to provide leadership in developing Hong Kong as a centre of scientific and technological excellence. Mission The Academy promotes the development and advancement of science and technology in Hong Kong, and informs the public on relevant issues.

It supports both Buddhist practitioners and non-Buddhists alike in their quest to bring happiness, contentment and peace to all beings by putting their love and compassion into action. Drukpa Hong Kong is a spiritual and charitable organization dedicated to: *Preserving the 1000-year old Drukpa Lineage's traditions and invaluable heritage by promoting its philosophy and rebuilding its many monasteries; *Supporting and facilitating the livelihood of many devoted practitioners in their study of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy; *Promoting and organizing Tibetan Buddhist teachings and pilgrimages for Buddhists and non-Buddhists at home and abroad.
