Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre offers multi-professional services to anyone diagnosed with cancer, their family members, friends and carers. Maggie’s Centre is based in Tuen Mun Hospital, within walking distance from its oncology department. All of Maggie’s services are offered free of charge. When visitors walk through the door, they are greeted by our cancer support specialists, who will listen, answer questions and talk through the elements of Maggie’s Cancer Support Programme, assessing which programme is suitable for them personally. Our aim is to help people equip themselves with effective ways to face and cope with cancer diagnosis, treatments, and psychological, informational, and emotional impacts of cancer. The welcoming, home like environment of our Centre is part of the Maggie’s integrated ethos. The comfortable setting allows you to be yourself, not a hospital patient.

We are the only Hong Kong charity dedicated to gynaecological cancers. The Karen Leung Foundation’s mission is to save lives by reducing the impact of gynaecological cancers in Hong Kong. We envision a world where women have every opportunity to live healthy and fulfilling lives free from gynaecological cancers. The Karen Leung Foundation (“KLF” or the “Foundation”) makes an impact by raising awareness about gynaecological cancers, educating the local community to promote prevention and early detection, and ensuring that women in treatment have access to optimal care. To achieve our objectives, KLF collaborates with the local and international medical community, as well as other NGO’s committed to improving women’s health. The Foundation was founded in 2013 with a vision to save lives by reducing the impact of gynaecological cancer. After conducting an initial in-depth community assessment, we’re working daily to address the unmet needs of the Hong Kong community. In 2014, we launched our initial programs and services aimed at increasing awareness of gynaecological cancer, promoting prevention of cervical cancer and supporting women in treatment.

香港潮陽同鄉會成立於1946年3月，時值抗戰勝利後，全國復員，旅港同鄉監於我邑兵燹之後，元氣大為損耗，加以天災頻仍，民生凋敝，百廢待舉，為拯縣民於水火之中，及扶持地方建設，經我旅港僑領馬澤民、蕭眉珊等之倡導，成立同鄉組織，從事救鄉工作。 香港潮陽同鄉會為適應形勢的變化，三易會名，由旅港潮陽協進會-旅港潮陽同鄉會，1992年為恰切體現我旅港同鄉以香港繁榮為己任的主人翁姿態，改會名為香港潮陽同鄉會沿用至今。 同鄉會宗旨﹕敦睦鄉誼，贊助香港慈善事業，提倡及發展教育。是香港政府認可的公共慈善機構之一。歷屆董事會均為社會服務、興學育才，發放同鄉學子獎學金及對家鄉建設慷慨捐輸等，卓有建樹，深得政府器重，社會推崇。

Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations of the Central and Western District Limited

Since its establishment in the millennium, the Central and Western District Parent-Teacher Association Federation has been committed to promoting home-school cooperation and promoting close ties among parent-teacher associations in the district. It organizes different types of activities to strengthen parent-child, moral education, academics, and even volunteer services. Experience sharing and exchange in the field give full play to the bridge of mutual trust, mutual help and mutual understanding between home and school, thereby improving the effectiveness of collaboration between families, schools and communities. At the same time, we also actively care about the community and are invited to serve as and participate in the affairs of various social welfare organizations.

Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society (HKDCS) was established in December 2003 and it is the only society dedicated to the conservation of whales, dolphins and porpoises of Hong Kong. Effective from 14 July 2005, HKDCS has been recognized as a charitable organization, with Inland Revenue file number 91/7756. In recent years, Chinese white dolphin has become one of the most celebrated wildlife adored by the Hong Kong public, and has also been an important member of our fragile marine ecosystem. However, the general public still knows only a little of these mysterious creatures, and local cetaceans have not received the full protection from human yet. In order to enhance the knowledge of general public on cetaceans in Hong Kong and around the world, and to effectively protect them in a long run, HKDCS aims to: 1) To arouse public awareness on: - biology and conservation of Chinese white dolphins and finless porpoises in Hong Kong, and cetaceans in other parts of the world; - preservation of dolphins and their habitats in Hong Kong; - impacts posed by dolphin-watching activities to dolphin and the importance of raising standard of dolphin-watching industry in Hong Kong; - global issues of whales and dolphins such as captivity, whaling, fishery bycatch and marine pollution 2) To conduct scientific research on wild dolphins in Hong Kong and nearby regions like China and Taiwan 3) To educate the school children on the importance of dolphin conservation 4) To offer opportunity for research interns and volunteers to participate in the conservation of local cetaceans 5) To provide a forum for dolphin-lovers to gather, interact and share dolphin-watching and conservation experience
