The AkinAlliance was founded in 1968 by a group of young people who had participated in a social service camp. The organization is registered as a non-profit society and became a charitable organization on September 30, 2017. The AkinAlliance is a pioneer in promoting outdoor outreach activities in Hong Kong, including mountaineering, orienteering, and rock climbing.
