Description
Asia Women's League Limited is a non-profit making organization established since 1972 with the elderly as its main target group. We provides quality residential care and community services for the elderly, including care and attention homes and neighbourhood activity centers. Through the provision of a wide range of services to meet the needs of different elderly people, we aim at loving, serving and respecting elders by providing home-liked environment at our elderly home services and diversify recreational, therapeutic and training programs for targeted active elders at our activities centers. It is to enhance the quality of life of the elderly to achieve a fruitful twilight life, and to actively promote the spirit of “Respecting, Loving and Caring for the Elderly”. After more than 50 years of hard work, we have five service units under the Asia Women's League Limited. There are three care and attention homes and two elderly activity centers. One of the Care and Attention Homes and one of the elderly centers are self-financing and requires external subsidies to operate.
For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
