- The Cantonese Pronounciation Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") was established on January 17, 2003. The purpose of the association is to: 1. Raise the awareness of Cantonese Pronunciation among people from all walks of life; 2. Encourage and assist primary and secondary schools and kindergartens to set up Cantonese Pronunciation Promotion Units, and set up 300 units within three years; "Clarity" is the goal of language training and the implementation of Cantonese pronunciation training in schools; 4. To enhance the community's understanding of Cantonese pronunciation; 5. To provide information and training opportunities for Cantonese pronunciation for people from all walks of life.
