About
- Description
- The Bernard van Zuiden Music Fund aims to provide financial aid for young Chinese music talent from Hong Kong to pursue musical training abroad. Recipients are expected to return to Hong Kong upon finishing their studies and to contribute their talent to the Hong Kong music field. The fund was established in 1983 under a generous donation from Mr Bernard van Zuiden, a late Hong Kong resident and businessman who was very active in the Dutch community. The Trustees of the Fund are the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Limited and HSBC Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited. Over the last 37 years, the Fund has supported many emerging local musicians. Most of them are now part of the Hong Kong music scene, and some are currently full-time HK Phil musicians.
- "Silver Go" Service Limited is a registered charitable institution in Hong Kong, recognised under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. The organisation is dedicated to serving the elderly community. It provides supportive programs such as its 'Worry-Free Services' to enhance the well-being and peace of mind for seniors.
