Most of these volunteers have social work, special education and rehabilitation backgrounds. It was incorporated under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance in 2007 as a non-profit organisation. We ensure all the funds are used for the children. Our vision: To enable children with disabilities to rise and walk and become independent. Our mission: To facilitate the holistic development of children with neurological impairment through rehabilitation, education and social integration.; For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
