Description
CMF works with hospitals to train health care professionals, increase local capacity, and improve medical infrastructure. CMF strives to develop sustainable and cost-effective maternal and child health care models that can create a big impact on lowering neonatal mortality rate. Since 1995 CMF has: • Established 98 Neonatal Intensive Care Units across 12 provinces to treat critically-ill newborn babies in rural, underserved areas of China • Performed life-saving surgeries for more than 973 critically-ill newborns • Provided pediatric training for over 3,374 doctors and nurses to 1,140 county hospitals in disadvantaged China • Transported more than 1,040 newborns to safety through CMF's Mobile Emergency Response Unit • Provided financial assistance to 433 babies and families who otherwise could not afford lifesaving treatment • Been treating 68,000 babies or 8 babies each hour through their network of hospitals

FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
