Since 1995 CMF has: • Established 98 Neonatal Intensive Care Units across 12 provinces to treat critically-ill newborn babies in rural, underserved areas of China • Performed life-saving surgeries for more than 973 critically-ill newborns • Provided pediatric training for over 3,374 doctors and nurses to 1,140 county hospitals in disadvantaged China • Transported more than 1,040 newborns to safety through CMF's Mobile Emergency Response Unit • Provided financial assistance to 433 babies and families who otherwise could not afford lifesaving treatment • Been treating 68,000 babies or 8 babies each hour through their network of hospitals; —
