- 柴灣堂於1988年7月由中華基督教會灣仔堂推動植堂而建立。當時柴灣區的人口正急劇增加，而區內教會的數目實在不足以應付居民的屬靈需求，灣仔堂二十多位弟兄姊妹回應神的呼召，來到這廣大的禾場，要為神收割莊稼。 初到柴灣，本堂於主日暫借柴灣社區中心的地方（現已改建為柴灣青年廣場）舉行崇拜及團契聚會。雖然環境未如理想，植堂的弟兄姊妹仍積極開展各項佈道、服務、關顧的事工，吸引了區內居民。 1989年1月，母堂籌辦的柴灣堂幼兒園（柴灣新翠花園政府單位第二層）開始使用，服侍坊眾。地點鄰近柴灣地鐵站。本堂亦轉於該處聚會。有了固定的聚會點後，各項事工更可大力發展，傳道服務、崇拜祈禱、團契牧養等部門，承擔起基督託付我們的大使命，努力拓展神的國度。一年內，平均崇拜人數已達 65 人，有 6 個小組團契。 1990年，本堂正式自立，成為中華基督教會香港區會之會員堂會之一。 其後，本堂於10週年堂慶（即1998年7月）開展小西灣分堂，期望福音能傳遍柴灣及小西灣。 蒙神恩典，教會聚會人數穩定增加，成人崇拜亦由兩堂變為三堂，而地方不足亦成為教會發展的一個限制。為使柴灣堂有更穩定發展，我們一直禱告仰望神，求神賜下固定堂址。經過多年，神帶領柴灣堂於2012年購入現址，並於2013年3月31日（復活節主日）正式開始啟用。期望在新堂址能繼續健康發展，將福音傳至柴灣每個角落。

FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
