- 本堂早於1911年由倫敦傳道會〔今稱世界傳道會〕威禮士牧師所創立。當時大埔墟只是一個小漁港，交通極其不便。開基時只租用富善街某一單位為堂址，乃墟內第一間基督教教會。其後，教友人數日增，於1920年購得瑞安街物業為堂址，樓下用作聚會及興辦昆明女校，樓上用作傳道人宿舍。 其時，教會積極開展福音工作，聚會人數以漁民為多，地方不敷應用，遂興建新堂。全體教友都盡力奉獻，更有奉獻土地作堂址，興 辦學校，在多方協助下，新堂終於1950年落成。自五零年代初至七零年代末，新堂落成後三十多年來環境變遷，鄉村教友多往英國謀生，漁民亦因上岸工作而分 散各地就業，人力和財力都甚難集中，造成牧養上的重重困難。 配合中華基督教會香港區會傳道服務之使命，於1986年擴展本堂開辦之正而小學，改名為基正小學，座落於同區之富善邨。自始舊校舍改為開辦大埔堂幼稚園， 又於1987年區會在廣福邨開辦馮梁結紀念中學，本堂遂開展中學生福音事工，成立學生團契，也同時為社區提供小學生託管服務。教堂於90年完成全面重修 後，於92年在本會馮梁結紀念中學內植堂，名為廣福堂，2002年成為自養獨立堂會。2006年，配合基正小學之福音事工的發展，於校內設立富善佈道所。 本堂之成立，向以關心鄰舍街坊的福音需要，藉著提供適切的服務，讓人們認識救恩；又裝備信徒成為基督的門徒，投入事奉的行列，同心禱告，彼此服事，務求讓上帝家中的每一位兄姊得享主的恩福，帶領坊眾認識基督。

FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
