- The Center is organized by Evangelize China Fellowship Shatin Canaan Church Limited. In 1990, the Church received funding from the Bradbury Foundation for the start-up costs, and the Center was officially opened in January 1991. Therefore, the Center was officially named " Evangelize China Fellowship Shatin Canaan Church Bradbury Student Development Centre." In 1997, the center successfully applied to become a member organization of the "Community Chest" and received funding. Furthermore, in 2003, it became a member organization of the "Hong Kong Council of Social Service" as well. The main service of Center is After-school Care Service on a self-financing basis, providing support to working parents. It offers primary school students services such as homework assistance, meal services, parent-child activities, as well as growth and developmental activities.
- For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
