The Fund has been established since 1955 and provides maintenance grants to students who are in financial need as assessed under a means test and are pursuing full-time courses at one of the following institutions:
a. Secondary 4 / Senior Secondary 1 to Secondary 6 / Senior Secondary 3 courses of the secondary day schools approved by the Education Bureau; or
b. Certain courses of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and Youth College under the auspice of the Vocational Training Council.

FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently
Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
