Waste management is failing in Hong Kong. Trash is littered across out streets, our beautiful country parks and our beautiful beaches. We only have one planet. It is up to us to do what we can to protect it. With this in mind, Green Hour was established in 2018 to raise the awareness in the community of the importance of environmental protection. Green Hour's mission is to put an end to this nightmare through direct action. Alone, we cannot make a big difference, but together, we can make waves. By 2030, our target is to put an end to the trash issue in this city by: - Spreading a message of hope through engaging events and activities - Collecting data from cleanups and surveys to push for change - Pushing for better management of streets whilst working to support cleaners. With over 80 cleanups, 100+ weekly Bun Run's fighting food waste as well as school and corporate partnerships, Green Hour has managed to make a positive impact in Hong Kong and will continue to grow, hold more activities and work every day to reach out to a much wider audience.
