- Hands on Learning is an important aspect of The Harbour School. Children Learn Science are performing experiments, and children learning History are role playing the challenges of earlier times rather than just reading about them. Children at the Harbour school are learning the art of respectful debate so that they feel safe and valued when exposing new ideas while thoughtfully considering the ideas of others. They also have strong exposure to alternative types of expression including creative writing, drama, dance, music, and visual arts.
