Objectives:
- To realize the Lions Clubs’ spirit of ‘We Serve’ by showing care for and serving the community;
- To cultivate children and young people with the idea to care and serve the community.
It is hoped that through the homework guidance programme of the Foundation, they can be nurtured to become a group of responsible people who make contribution to society.
Service: To provide after-school homework guidance programme for primary students from low-income families
The aims of the programme: Service targets are underprivileged students who have no parental care or guidance after school. The programme provides a better environment and guidance for the students to study. This enhances their knowledge and reduces street kid problem.
This programme enables parents of low-income families to go out to work without worries. This will increase their family income and improve their lives. Tutors can practice their teaching methods and develop communication skills and confidence. Then they are well-prepared to pursue a career in the social work profession.

FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently
Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
