- 香港單親協會成立於1991年,是註冊非牟利機構,以「自強、自助、再助人」為宗旨,致力支援單親家庭及有需要人士。協會於全港設有6個服務中心,提供多元化服務,包括:單親心理健康計劃、支援熱線、基層家庭支援、就業輔導、幼兒照顧及離異家庭輔導。同時推動共享親職教育、單親學童德行培育,並支援逆境家庭兒童。本會積極研究單親政策,倡議政府關注單親家庭需求,促進社會理解與接納。 The Hong Kong Single Parents Association (HKSPA), established in 1991, is a registered non-profit organisation supporting single-parent families and those in need. Guided by the motto "Strengthen Ourselves, Help Ourselves, then Help Others," it provides emotional, employment, educational, and legal support to help families overcome challenges and reintegrate into society. Operating through 6 service centres, HKSPA offers key services including: the Single Parent Mental Health Programme, Support Hotline, Grassroots Family Support, Employment Support, Child Care Project, and Divorce Family Counselling. The Association actively promotes co-parenting education, moral development for single-parent children, and support for children from disadvantaged families. HKSPA also researches single-parent policies and advocates for greater government attention to their needs, while enhancing public understanding and acceptance of single-parent families.
- For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
