- Founded in 2014 by Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited, Lifewire brings together patients, charities, donors, and medical experts into a tightly-knit community to provide a channel for those in need to receive help. By documenting each patient’s story through text and video, we strive to share their narrative with the public to: 1. Raise funds to provide urgent medical care for children with rare diseases and to support patients’ long-term medical needs 2. Promote an inclusive society by increasing public awareness of rare diseases through community education Vision: Ignite compassion and rally together like-minded individuals to protect disenfranchised children in the community Mission: 1. Assist patients with rare diseases to afford urgent medical care and to support patients’ long-term medical needs 2. Rally together volunteers to provide continual support and guidance for patients and their families 3. Serve as the bridge between corporates, commerce associations, and the public to collaboratively support patients with rare diseases 4. Publish original media content to share the children’s stories with the public and raise awareness for those with rare diseases Values 1. - For over 25 years FOCUS has been a trusted resource for Hong Kong parents, educators and medical professionals seeking to learn how to better support the academic and social lives of children with mainstream learning differences. FOCUS aims to improve educational and life outcomes of children with AD/HD and SpLD by expanding understanding and raising awareness of what it means to have a mind that learns differently Our mission is is to improve the education of mainstream students who are challenged by Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) by providing accurate evidence-based information, practical strategies and support to parents and professionals in education and healthcare and by improving understanding of how learning differences impact youth both emotionally and academically.
