- Redress is a Hong Kong-based pioneering environmental charity working to educate and empower the fashion industry and consumers to reduce clothing’s negative environmental impact by shifting to circular solutions. Redress achieves this in a number of different ways largely driven by two pillars: waste prevention through educating fashion professionals, educators and the public; and waste transformation by providing consumer solutions for unwanted clothing through Get Redressed Month and Takeback programme. In 2021, Redress collected 48.1 tonnes of clothing through the Hong Kong Takeback programme, redistributing the clothing for reuse, resale and recycling and reducing textile waste.
