Human Services我們的任務 “衣服傳關愛 ” 衣、食、住、行是生活的必需品,而“衣”就爲生活之中最不可或缺的東西: 長者和殘疾人士往往因行動不便或肢體上的變異,使他們在衣著上面對不少困難。一般市場上的衣服未能幫助或滿足他們的需要,但具有功能性特別設計的衣服可幫助他們解決穿著方面的困難,甚至修飾身體上的缺陷,從而改善生活質素,使他們重拾自信。當科技及醫療發展日趨進步,人均壽命普遍延長,我們對老弱人士生活困難及提昇生活質素的工作包括特別設計的衣物服務亦需多加關注及改善。 從事勞動工作的人士因工作的關係,經常要面對不少職業安全風險,亦有時會在惡劣環境下工作。雖然一般市場上已經有很多個人保護設備產品供應,但是在需要考量成本的前提之下,該些衣服或設備是未必能完全滿足普羅大衆的實際需要。隨社會節奏加快,勞動人口面對嘅不但止是自動化生產以至全球一體化所帶來的挑戰。爲了幫助大眾迎接時代的沖擊,協會將竭力研發及改良個人保護裝備,以提升勞動人口競爭力及生活水平。

Health讓無聲的夢想展開每一雙翅膀! 聾人是殘障者中最孤單的群體。因為失去聽力,學習口語對聾人來說要比我們(聽人)難千萬倍,對於比較貧困落後,不能及時接受合適訓練或聽力損失極其嚴重的聾人來說,開口講話幾乎成了不可能。 在這個以聲音為主要資訊傳遞媒介的社會裏,因為失去聽力,聾人不能像我們這樣便捷地接收資訊,不能用口語表達自己的內心感受,不能用口語與別人流暢地交流;因為失去聽力,聾人在學習、工作及社會生活中都會遇到重重障礙。 但是,聾人有一雙隱形的翅膀,聾人也擁有夢想,只要用適合他們的方法,為他們提供合適的教育、合適的舞臺,他們的人生一樣可以綻放光彩,他們的夢想一樣可以開花。 2005--2008年間,我們回應中國兩千多萬聾人的溝通障礙及其在教育、就業上的需要,並希望能為亞洲地區的聾人謀求福祉,於2005年6月首先在韓國開始開展了工作,同年10月在美國馬利蘭州註冊“愛加倍國際愛聾協會”(簡稱“愛加倍”),並於2008年3月在香港註冊為非營利性組織。韓國、美國和香港愛加倍的成員有韓國人、美國人、韓國華僑、美籍華人及香港人等聾人與聽人。 愛加倍期盼在愛的基礎上攜手為聾人服務,也祈願將“加倍的愛”(Agape Love)傳遞給千千萬萬的聾人。 我們的使命 藉著教育與職業培訓,增強聾人的知識與技能,使聾人平等地參與社會,進而充分發揮其潛能,奉獻他人,實現其自身價值。
