We advocate and leverage compassion running to bring together different pockets of the society to promote harmony and empathy. Youth.ROC, our pioneer project aimed at Youths has so far served 12,000+ youngsters to motivate them from the coach to completing 10km run. We populate and infuse the program with multiple elements to enrich the meaning of healthy running to our participants to help them cultivate their running habits and cultures. The Foundation is now reaching out to communities with impediments and women groups and will continue to explore serving more under-served communities, to allow more folks to enjoy and benefit from the goodness of running!

Arts and Culture and HumanitiesFounded in 2009, Read-Cycling is one of a very few charities in Hong Kong dedicated to books and book lovers. We have been working hand-in-hand with like-minded organisations, schools, corporations and individuals in the past 11 years to bring a second life to used books. We are also committed to organising cultural activities in various formats with an aim to make reading an essential part of everyday life. Since 2009, Read-Cycling has received over198,000 quality used books from book donors all over Hong Kong, helping more than 153,000 of them find new homes and thus, saved more than 1,530 trees. Mission: 1. Foster a green reading culture I. We collect used books from various communities through book donation boxes and counters II. Volunteers help sort the books by genres III. Through different channels, we give the books a second life. 2. Promote the joy of reading We reach out to different communities and curate interesting cultural projects with an aim to nurture more book lovers. In the past years, we have made happen 60 cultural programs and author’s sharing sessions. Add to this 60 activities with primary and secondary schools. Project Care
Human ServicesProject on Children and Adolescents at Risk Education (Project C.A.R.E.), under the C.A.R.E. Lab of City University of Hong Kong aims at developing innovative interventions with different approaches in reducing and preventing aggressive behaviour and victimisation of school bullying in Hong Kong. This project had adopted Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in group counselling working with the exercise of systematic anti-bullying education to improve the growth environment of schoolchildren and simultaneously address the school bullying issue comprehensively. After succeeding in implementing the Project C.A.R.E., the research team also invented various innovative approaches of intervention to reduce aggressive behaviour of schoolchildren and tackle the problem of school bullying.

MakerBay Foundation Limited
Arts and Culture and HumanitiesIn 2017, MakerBay Foundation was established by Cesar Jung-Harada, a Japanese-French educator, environmentalist, and entrepreneur, in order help underserved youth to make an impact by developing their maker skills and mindset, as well as forming an inclusive maker community. We operate from one of the largest makerspace in Hong Kong to offer people the space, tools and training to become innovators. For our projects, we have developed a comprehensive innovation curriculum, backed by a large community of scientists, artists, researchers and experts from Academia. Apart from the makerspace in Tsuen Wan and a smaller one in PMQ Central, we also assist in setting up makerspaces in youth centers and schools, both in Hong Kong and abroad. Lifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation
HealthLifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation is a registered charitable organization (IRD File No: 91/4895) established in 1997 in Hong Kong, to raise funds to support the operation of the Lifeline Express. Lifeline Express is a well-equipped hospital eye-train, aiming to provide free operations for the underprivileged cataract patients in Mainland China. This purpose-built four compartments eye-train consists of an Examination Room, two Operating Theatres, a Patient Ward, a Multi-function Conference Room and a Living Quarter for medical team. In July 1, 1997, the first hospital eye-train embarked on its mission of light to Fuyang City, Auhui Province, China. In 1999, 2002 and 2009 the second, third and fourth hospital eye-trains come into service.

EducationHong Kong Seagull Scholarship was established by Mr. Lo Yuk Tong, Executive Advisor of The Toys Manufacturers' Association of HK. His idea originated during a visit to Gansu Hope School project activities in 1998.During his time there he heard that a university student had fainted in class and he learned that she had been selling her blood in order to pay for her studies. This touched Mr. Lo’s heart and on his return to Hong Kong he was determined he would do something to help students in similar situations. He set up “Seagulls” which is a voluntary organization to collect funds to provide grants for impoverished students in China to complete their studies and prepare them for a worthwhile place in society. Purpose: The aim of the "Seagull" group is intended to motivate students in poor areas to be like the seagulls bird, fearless with a strong spirit and constantly striving for ideals. Together with this the passing through of love for students with the action called "little candles" which brings warmth and light. The assisted student with ability can enjoy helping others by passing on the candlelight, a flame burning with flourishing spirit forever, so that more students can complete their studies.
